Each presenter will have a maximum of twenty minutes in which to deliver her/his paper, with an additional five minutes to answer questions. Panel Chairs will liaise with presenters in advance of the conference to confirm final timings and the overall structure of the panel discussion.

All panels will be held in the Institute of Geography in one of three rooms: The Old Library, the Ogilvie Room and the Lecture Hall. The draft conference programme is available here [to be posted]. Please note that the programme might be updated before the conference, so it is advisable to check the confirmed programme in advance of the conference.

All rooms will have standard PowerPoint facilities. Please bring a copy of your presentation on a CD-ROM or memory stick if you wish to use PowerPoint. If you require additional audio-visual equipment or are unsure about digital compatibility for visual or audio clips, please contact Marjorie Davies m.davies@warwick.ac.uk (tel: 02476 523443) by 1st June, 2008 at the latest.

Please arrive at least ten minutes before the scheduled start time of your panel to allow Powerpoint presentations to be readied.

Panel Chairs will contact presenters in advance of the conference, and will aim to introduce themselves to you during the first day of the conference to help with any queries. If you are unable to present your paper due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact your Panel Chair or m.davies@warwick.ac.uk as soon as possible.

Please email a copy of your paper to Marjorie Davies m.davies@warwick.ac.uk in advance of the conference or present a printed copy to your Panel Chair at the conference itself. All conference papers are added to the Society’s archives, and if you wish, may be published online in the Conference Proceedings. Details of publishing opportunities will be announced at the conference. If you would like your paper to be considered for publication, please note this on advance submission of the paper to Marjorie Davies.
